Wo pal tanhai ke wo mithi mithi yaadain,
Kuch nami sazi ashqo ke wo sadiyo lambi raatain;
Saanso se uljhi sard hawa jaane kya baat sunaye,
Tute patto pe chalte kadam tere aane ki chaah jagaye;
Maddham sa lagta suraj jab mausam bhina ho jaye,
Halka sa ujla dhuaan khwaab sa kyun ban jaye;
Milker bhule na kuch thi aesi natkhat wo shaitaan,
Ab to chehre per padhta hai harkoi uska naam;
Har shakhs mai tera aks dikha tu es’se anjaan,
Dil ki dharkan mai chup ja jaise patthar me bhagwan;
Kiski nazroon main dekhun khud ko bhuli bisri yaadain,
Tum bin kaise jite hain gar mar jaate to samjhaate;
