kiooN tabiaat kaheeN Theharti nahi
dosti tou udaas karti nahi
hum hamesha k ser chashm sahi
tujh ko dekheN tou aankh bharti nahi
shab-e-hijraaN bhi roz-e-bad ki taraH
cut tou jati hai par guzarti nahi
sher bhi aaytoN se kya kum heiN
hum pe mana wahi utarti nahi
ye muhabat hai, sun zamany sun
itni aasanioN se m~rti nahi
jis taraH tum guzarty ho f~raz
zindagi is taraH guzarti nahi…,,
